Finding the best luggage can be tricky. You need items that are durable, spacious, have optimized interiors, easy to move through an airport with, and are the right size for what you’re looking for. Below are what I believe are the best luggage pieces for every type of trip based on my own experience!
Quick look:
Details:
Best weekend bag: Dagne Dover Landon Carryall (XL)
Go-to Carry-on: Away The Bigger Carry-on

Up next on the list of best luggage is by far My most used piece. I’ve used this on countless trips and it has held up remarkably! Love this Salt White Glossy option.
Fav soft-side Carry-on: Away The Softside Bigger Carry-on
My Mid-sized Checked bag: Away The Medium

Perfect for if you need a little more space than a carry-on offers, but not a huge checked bag. I use this if I’m traveling for a week or so!
Favorite huge checked bag: Quince Expandable Large Check-In Suitcase

Recently bought this Quince suitcase and have been loving it for when I need a massive checked bag. It’s produced in the same factory that Away’s suitcases are produced, so it is of the same quality, just a fraction of the price!
Best Airline Friendly Backpack: Amazon Large Travel Backpack

Airlines outside of the US often have pretty strict baggage requirements (e.g., RyanAir or Easyjet). If you aren’t looking to pay extra to bring your standard roller carry-on, consider one of these backpacks. They’re airline approved and you can fit a ton in them!
