welcome back to my WIML series, where each week i detail out how i spent the prior week as an american temporarily living in new zealand! this past week was very much a low-key, laid back week in auckland. because of that, the format of this post will be a little different than previous posts because there just weren’t as many interesting things going on! this post summarizes march 24th-30th.
new posts published
finally got around to posting all of my London recs from when I lived there! check them out below:
eats
cooked so much this week since we had been eating out so much in prior weeks! but of course had to try some new spots over the weekend (ghost street, Lulu’s acai) and go back to some old favorites (daily bread, HNT kitchen). Ghost street had the coolest vibe and the food was great! and Daily bread’s plain croissant was especially good this week, earning a 9.5/10 rating from the croissant king himself (see more on croissants around the world).
also, recently discovered red kiwis and have been obsessed! liiiike so gorg. i also tried my first feijoa this week… more on that on tiktok.

drinks
we were on a bit of a ~cleanse~ this week after being on quite a bender the prior two weeks. but we did love the drinks at Ghost Street! plus I finally checked out Slow Koi Brew Bar which was super cool. iced latte from there was just fine, but I need to go back to try their pour overs since that’s what they’re known for.

play
not too many fun things this week, but did find a new go-to nail salon and golfed a bit. plus did a little shopping in hopes to find some Bali outfits, but I ended up just buying new jeans from H&m. so guess i have to online shop now!

Reads
- Finished the 7th book in the Tier One series! A bit different than the previous books. Really liked it though!
- Started the 8th book in the Tier One series. The last one (for now!) until they publish more. What do I read next …
watches
- White Lotus – idk why people are hating on this season, I’m loving
- Severance – just started!!
- Adolescence – watched this mini series over the weekend. interesting concept (a 13 yr old is accused of murdering his classmate), thought it started off stronger than it ended though.
